Overall, we found this place to be reasonably priced and up to a good standard. Our stay here was quite enjoyable, although our rooms didn't have a window or proper ventilation. But aside from that, everything else was pretty solid. 👍

i've had a very good stay at charms. fairly clean hotel, enjoyed to be just off particularly around the elevators and nanjing pedestrian street which is very convenient thanks to great location. i booked reasonably large room for a third bed.

charms hotel was a great choice for my stay in shanghai! the concierge staff were helpful and dealt with different languages. the location was convenient, close to sightseeing tours and museums. they even went above and beyond by bringing me my forgotten bag at the airport. fantastic view too!

Everything is EXCELLENT, the room is reasonably sized with a very good ambience, toiletries. The breakfast choices are good with a "acquired" taste, western dishes and chinese food.

The hotel is conveniently located near Nanjing pedestrian road, just around the corner from East Nanjing road and the Hop on Hop off bus. This makes it easy for backpackers like me to explore the city and get around. The room I stayed in had a window, which was a relief after reading some negative reviews. The bathroom was clean and satisfactory, and I had no issues with the service. The hotel also offered a decent breakfast with both Western and Eastern options.
